I bought Aubree a bag of those soft dinosaur stickers that you peel the back off of and stick. they are made out of foam. So she gives her daddy one and of course he peels the back off and right on his forehead it goes. Aubree, always copycatting, stuck hers on her forehead as well. she then asked what kind of dinosaur it was. her daddy told her a teradactyl. A minute later she said “Look, I have a cara-docto on my head”. love the mis-pronunciations! She also still says aminals, ephelants. It’s always so sad when she grows up a little more and starts saying things correctly.

on the way home from Gatlinburg, Aubree informed us of her newest discovery….her little pinky toe will fit up her nose, but not her big toe.

Aubree (while setting on the toilet doing a poop)

Aubree:plop, “did you hear that?”

Me: “yes, what was it?”

Aubree:”it was the mommy poop, then the baby poop”

Me:” oh”

Aubree:”member when you was a little poop? and you went down the drain and was dressed like poop?”

Me:” uh, no”

Aubree:”you is”

I just heard Aubree burp a really loud, wet sounding burp.  I turned around and she had the most awful look on her face, like, oh gross.

She said, “I ate puke(she pronounces it pook still)”, I said, “You did?”, she said, “ew, yes I did, but its down now, all the way down to my leg,”  I said, “was it good”, and she said “ew, no,but its gone now”….hahahahah

Her newest phrase is “of course” as in, can I put the dishes in the dishwasher?  Of course I can.

She says it with everything.

One of Aubree’s favorite things to do is go to Target and walk around the toy aisle just looking.  I think Target was one of her first words actually.  So, yesterday we had been in there for awhile looking and playing with Christmas decorations, then finally moved to the toys.  She wandered up and down the aisles touching everything and playing.  A little while later I told her it was time to go, and she readily started leaving the toys.  I said, “Wow, we actually got to leave there empty handed,”  in to which she replied, “what’s a empty handed?”

Aubree and I are setting in the living room eating lunch.  She is in her high chair.  I was trying to put another bite of soup in her mouth and she kept moving her head away with her eyes closed, I said, “What are you doing?”  She said, “I just trying to pray,”  I said, “Pray about what?” and she said, “just Baby Jesus’ life”

To cute…….so then we said a prayer thanking God for baby Jesus and she is really excited that Christmas is Baby Jesus’ birthday….

I really want to write a long post later.  About the past summers beach trip, Thanksgiving trip to the cabin in Gatlinburg and lots more.  Just wrote this to try to remember some new words Aubree has started using, which crack me up….yesterday she used the word “actually” correctly in a sentence, which blows my mind for a 2 year old.  She’ll also say, “let me ask you a question”  and loves asking “how are you today?” while shaking your hand.  also says thank you to EVERYTHING, and days later will even still say, “mommy, thank you for my toy”

All for now……..she’s been sick for 5 days now and snotty and it’s driving me nuts….

Aubree got out of the tub tonight, wrapped her towel reaaalll tight around herself, tucked it up under her chin, and insisted on being called “Baby Jesus” all night….good news, I am “Mommy Jesus”

We were in Aubree’s room playing and she picked up her play police walkie talkie and said

Aubree:  ”This is part of my Halloween Trick or Treat.  I say carry  my Elmo basket and say Trick or Treat, and sissy go with me”

Mommy: “Sissy will go trick or treating with you”

Aubree: “Yes, but she not carry me.  I a big girl”

Mommy:  ”yes you are a big girl.  You can walk when we go Trick or Treat”

Aubree:  ”I  a big girl cause I married”

Mommy:  ”you’re married?!?!”

Aubree:  ”Yes, to Tyler (my nieces boyfriend) ANDDDD  I have  a boyfriend, him name is Emily”

Great…..

While laying down with Aubree trying to get her to go to sleep….
Me: goodnight Aubree (12th time)

Aubree: (wiggling all around). Let me see yours hand..,
Me: ok

Aubree: (starts shaking it up and down saying). How you day??
Me: I’m fine, how are you?

Aubree: I good
